{"id":3198,"date":"2019-02-05T02:44:29","date_gmt":"2019-02-05T01:44:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=3198"},"modified":"2019-02-04T17:49:16","modified_gmt":"2019-02-04T16:49:16","slug":"leonardo-addestramento-contratto-nato-per-la-protezione-elettronica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=3198","title":{"rendered":"LEONARDO, ADDESTRAMENTO: CONTRATTO NATO PER LA PROTEZIONE ELETTRONICA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Il costruttore italiano <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leonardocompany.com\/\">Leonardo<\/a>, ha firmato un contratto del valore di circa<strong> 180 milioni<\/strong> <strong>di euro<\/strong> per la fornitura alla <strong>NATO di sistemi di addestramento per la protezione elettronica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La commessa \u00e8 stata assegnata dal <strong>Ministero della Difesa del Regno Unito,<\/strong> che \u00e8 la nazione ospitante l\u2019<strong>agenzia NATO Joint Electronic Warfare Core Staff &#8211; JEWCS,<\/strong> che ha sede presso la b<strong>ase aerea della Royal Navy a Yeovilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Equipaggiamenti e servizi verranno erogati nell\u2019arco dei <strong>prossimi quattro anni <\/strong>dal centro di eccellenza di <strong>Leonardo<\/strong> a <strong>Luton,<\/strong> dedicato all\u2019<strong>electronic warfare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La societ\u00e0 \u00e8 stata selezionata nell\u2019ambito di una gara internazionale e integrer\u00e0 nella fornitura anche tecnologie dei partner <strong>Cobham<\/strong> ed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elt.com\/\">Elettronica<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JEWCS<\/strong> \u00e8 l&#8217;agenzia della NATO responsabile del dominio relativo alla protezione elettronica.\u00a0Quando gli alleati effettuano delle operazioni, il <strong>rischio<\/strong> di subire un\u2019<strong>interruzione delle comunicazioni,<\/strong> dei segnali GPS e radar da parte del nemico <strong>\u00e8 alto<\/strong>. L\u2019<strong>addestramento<\/strong> \u00e8 un fattore di estrema importanza per <strong>sperimentare<\/strong> queste <strong>condizioni<\/strong> e imparare a <strong>gestirle<\/strong>. JEWCS ha tra i compiti principali la <strong>formazione delle Forze Armate<\/strong> attraverso la <strong>simulazione<\/strong> di <strong>scenari<\/strong> ostili generati da contromisure elettroniche nemiche. Per fornire questi servizi, l\u2019agenzia utilizza sistemi ad alta tecnologia nei siti di formazione dislocati in tutta Europa, consentendo alle Forze Armate di potenziare le proprie competenze in aree quali la sorveglianza e le contromisure elettroniche.<\/p>\n<p>Per un <strong>addestramento efficace<\/strong>, la <strong>simulazione<\/strong> delle contromisure deve essere allo <strong>stato dell&#8217;arte<\/strong>, quindi al passo con gli ultimi <strong>sviluppi tecnologici<\/strong> delle forze avversarie. Leonardo \u00e8 il principale fornitore europeo di tecnologia e training per l\u2019<strong>electronic warfare <\/strong>e per questo contratto fornir\u00e0 soluzioni per l\u2019<strong>addestramento aereo, di terra e marittimo<\/strong>. Per le applicazioni aeree saranno forniti equipaggiamenti di autoprotezione per velivoli basati su pod, insieme a un\u2019infrastruttura di analisi per la difesa dai missili antinave (<strong>NASMDEF \u2013 NATO Anti-Ship Missile Defence Evaluation Facility<\/strong>). Grazie a queste componenti, realizzate per lo pi\u00f9 da Cobham, gli utenti si alleneranno a usare contromisure di protezione delle navi dalle minacce in arrivo. Per le applicazioni terrestri e marittime saranno impiegati veicoli e shelter rinforzati, equipaggiati con simulatori, stimolatori e dispositivi di disturbo di produzione di Elettronica, in qualit\u00e0 di subfornitore di Leonardo.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;<strong>esperienza di Leonardo<\/strong> nel settore dell\u2019<strong>electronic warfare<\/strong> comprende la progettazione e lo sviluppo di sistemi di <strong>protezione e ISR<\/strong> <strong>&#8211; Intelligence Surveillance and Recconaissance<\/strong> per velivoli alleati, ad esempio per gli <strong>Eurofighter Typhoon<\/strong> e gli <strong>elicotteri AW159<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>Academy <\/strong>di Leonardo a <strong>Lincoln<\/strong> offre <strong>formazione specialistica<\/strong>, mentre investimenti significativi sono dedicati allo sviluppo di contromisure di ultima generazione come l\u2019anti-IED (<strong>Improvised Explosive Device<\/strong>) Guardian per le truppe di terra e il <strong>BriteCloud<\/strong> per i piloti di velivoli caccia.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIl contratto per la JEWCS \u00e8 l\u2019esempio pi\u00f9 recente di una lunga partnership con la NATO nel settore delle tecnologie di sicurezza. Leonardo collabora con la NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in ambito cyber security, per proteggere dal pericolo di attacchi informatici oltre 70.000 utenti NATO in tutto il mondo\u201d<\/em> \u2013 si legge nella nota diffusa da Leonardo -. <em>La societ\u00e0 ha inoltre fornito diversi sistemi e supporto per il NATO Air Command and Control System (ACCS), la piattaforma di comando e controllo aereo dell\u2019Alleanza\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A <strong>ottobre 2018<\/strong> Leonardo ha ricevuto un prestigioso premio da parte della <strong> Scientific and Technology Organisation<\/strong>, organizzazione NATO dedicata alle <strong> tecnologie applicate alla Difesa<\/strong>, grazie allo sviluppo di un nuovo approccio alla simulazione e all&#8217;addestramento.
