{"id":4542,"date":"2019-05-28T09:49:16","date_gmt":"2019-05-28T08:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=4542"},"modified":"2019-05-25T15:54:34","modified_gmt":"2019-05-25T14:54:34","slug":"feindef-rafael-pap-presents-a-full-solution-for-enhanced-8x8-combat-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=4542","title":{"rendered":"FEINDEF: RAFAEL &#038; PAP PRESENTS A FULL SOLUTION FOR ENHANCED 8X8 COMBAT VEHICLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rafael.com\/\">Rafael Advanced Defense systems Ltd.<\/a> announce its participation in F<a href=\"https:\/\/www.feindef.com\/\">EINDEF 2019 International Defense and Security Exhibition,<\/a> <strong>May 29-31<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>FEINDEF 2019<\/strong>, <strong>Rafael<\/strong> will exhibit its solutions, with its <strong>local Spanish subsidiary PAP<\/strong> <strong>Tecnos<\/strong>, for Spain\u2019s planned <strong>8X8 combat vehicle program<\/strong>, offering a complete package of systems to enable and enhance full <strong>ground combat vehicle survivability<\/strong>, <strong>maneuverability<\/strong> and <strong>lethality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its ongoing <strong>innovation<\/strong> and <strong>development process<\/strong>, Rafael has introduced a new member of the <strong>Samson 30 Remote Controlled Weapon Station &#8211; RCWS<\/strong>, based on its existing legacy <strong>Samson 30 system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rafael\u2019s RCWS Family<\/strong> consists of four products under the brand name Samson, <strong>ranging from 5.56 mm to 30\/40 mm automatic cannons<\/strong>. Rafael has <strong>delivered<\/strong> over <strong>5000 RCWS systems <\/strong>which are currently in service worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rafael\u2019s new RCWS consists<\/strong> of the following elements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30 mm automatic cannon and coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun<\/li>\n<li>Two independent identical sights (one for the gunner and one for the commander)<\/li>\n<li>Two multi-purpose guided missiles (<strong>Spike LR1 or the new Spike LR2<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>Smoke grenade launchers<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Trophy APS<\/strong> system (optional Samson 30 RCWS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rafael offers an optional vatiant of <strong>Samson 30 RCWS<\/strong> with <strong>Trophy APS<\/strong> already integrated in the <strong>turret<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>Spike LR2 ATGM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As the design authority that develops, produces and integrates these systems into one integrated solution, Rafael provides the best operational and technical reliability.
