{"id":4780,"date":"2019-06-07T07:27:29","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T06:27:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=4780"},"modified":"2019-06-02T15:36:39","modified_gmt":"2019-06-02T14:36:39","slug":"22-23-june-2020-klm-to-host-76th-iata-agm-in-amsterdam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=4780","title":{"rendered":"22-23 JUNE 2020: KLM TO HOST 76TH IATA AGM IN AMSTERDAM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iata.org\/\">International Air Transport Association IATA<\/a> announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klm.com\/\">KLM Royal Dutch Airlines<\/a> will host the <strong>76<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0IATA Annual General Meeting &#8211; AGM<\/strong> <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>World Air Transport Summit<\/strong> in <strong>Amsterdam<\/strong>, the Netherlands, on\u00a0<strong>22-23<\/strong> <strong>June 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The aviation industry looks forward to meeting in Amsterdam for the 76<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0IATA AGM. The Netherlands has a rich aviation history with its vibrant economy driven by connectivity. It is particularly significant that we will be hosted by KLM. While we work together to achieve sustainability, build the infrastructure needed to support growth and evolve smarter regulations, KLM\u2019s century of success reminds us of the constant innovations that have underpinned the development of global aviation,\u201d<\/em> said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA\u2019s Director General and CEO.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the third time that the Netherlands will host the <strong>global gathering of aviation&#8217;s top leaders<\/strong> (Following events held in the Hague in 1949 and Amsterdam in 1969). <strong>KLM<\/strong> is a founding <strong>member of IATA<\/strong> and is <strong>celebrating its 100<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary this year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt is absolutely wonderful that Amsterdam was chosen for the IATA gathering in 2020 and that we as KLM can host IATA in 2020. This year in October 2019 KLM celebrates our 100th anniversary. A very special moment for all KLM colleagues.
