Delta Air Lines<\/a> and Airbus<\/a> are forming a digital alliance<\/strong> to develop new predictive maintenance<\/strong> and health-monitoring solutions<\/strong> for airline customers<\/strong> worldwide from 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis partnership with Airbus will further develop predictive maintenance capabilities, bringing the deep analytical prowess of Airbus\u2019 Skywise platform in conjunction with the rich technical and operational knowledge of the Delta predictive maintenance team<\/em> \u2013 said at Spazio-News Magazine<\/a> Don Mitacek, Delta\u2019s SVP Technical Operations<\/strong> -. To be accessed via a unified portal through the Skywise platform<\/a>, the cross-fleet solutions will harness each member\u2019s expertise in airframes<\/strong>, systems<\/strong> and engines<\/strong>. Delta Air Lines<\/strong> will be the first user of the enriched predictive maintenance solution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This partnership builds on an already successful platform of technical collaboration between Airbus<\/a> and Delta<\/a>: In october 2018<\/strong> Delta entered into a multi-year contract<\/strong> with Airbus to apply Skywise Predictive Maintenance<\/strong> to its A320<\/strong> and A330<\/strong> fleets, covering around 400 aircraft<\/strong>.
