Embraer<\/a> and CIAF Leasing<\/a> have signed a firm order for 3<\/strong> Embraer<\/strong> E-190 aircraft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe three new E190s will be an excellent addition to our growing fleet of Embraer E-Jets<\/em> \u2013 said at Spazio-News Magazine<\/a> Hassan Mohamed, Chairman & CEO of CIAF Leasing<\/a> -. With a fleet of E170s, E190s, and E195s, CIAF will have the flexibility to offer to both our wet and dry lease customers a service that fits their needs exactly.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The deal has a value of USD 161.4 million<\/strong> at current list prices and will be added to Embraer\u2019s IV quarter backlog<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The three new aircraft<\/strong> will join CIAF<\/strong>\u2019s existing fleet of 3<\/strong> E-170s<\/strong>, two of which are on lease with Jasmin Airways<\/a>, the other with Air Cairo<\/strong>. CIAF<\/strong> are also due to receive 2 E-195s<\/strong> in mid-November.<\/p>\n

\u201cCIAF is rapidly increasing its footprint in both wet and dry leasing with the addition of further aircraft to their fleet and the establishment of their own AOC – Air Operator Certificate in June this year<\/em> – Raul Villaron, Vice President Sales, Africa and Middle East, Embraer Commercial Aviation<\/a> said -.
