{"id":8995,"date":"2020-07-22T02:55:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-22T01:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=8995"},"modified":"2020-07-22T13:25:08","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T12:25:08","slug":"accordo-con-atos-per-il-super-computer-destinato-ai-leonardo-labs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/?p=8995","title":{"rendered":"SAR\u00c0 DI ATOS IL SUPER-COMPUTER DESTINATO AI LEONARDO LABS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atos.net\/it\/italia\">Atos SpA<\/a>, leader globale nella <strong>trasformazione digitale<\/strong>, \u00e8 stata selezionata da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leonardocompany.com\/it\/press-release-detail\/-\/detail\/14-07-2020-leonardo-atos-will-be-its-technological-partner-in-the-development-of-the-genoa-supercomputer\">Leonardo SpA<\/a> come <strong>partner<\/strong> <strong>tecnologico<\/strong> per lo sviluppo del <strong>super-computer<\/strong> che sar\u00e0 installato a <strong>Genova<\/strong>, in una delle <strong>6 sedi italiane<\/strong> dei <a href=\"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/napoli-leonardo-labs-nasce-laerotech-campus\">Leonardo Labs<\/a>, i nuovi <strong>laboratori<\/strong> del <strong>Gruppo<\/strong> dedicati alla <strong>ricerca avanzata<\/strong> e all\u2019<strong>innovazione<\/strong> <strong>tecnologica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIl supercomputer che stiamo sviluppando a Genova rafforzer\u00e0 significativamente le capacit\u00e0 sia dell\u2019azienda sia su scala nazionale nel supercalcolo, nei big data e nei sistemi autonomi e intelligenti\u201d<\/em> \u2013 ha spiegato <strong>Alessandro Profumo<\/strong>, amministratore delegato dell\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leonardocompany.com\/\">ex Finmeccanica<\/a> -. <em>Questo progetto contribuir\u00e0 in maniera significativa al posizionamento dell\u2019Italia fra le prime cinque nazioni al mondo per capacit\u00e0 di calcolo nei settori della ricerca pubblica e industriale\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Il <strong>nuovo centro di calcolo<\/strong>, integrato da <a href=\"https:\/\/atos.net\/\">Atos<\/a>, sar\u00e0 uno tra i primi in UE, e il primo nel nostro Paese, ad essere dotato degli <strong>acceleratori di ultima generazione NVidia A100<\/strong>. Il <strong>super-computer<\/strong> conter\u00e0 su una batteria di oltre cento unit\u00e0 di <strong>super-calcolo<\/strong>, per una <strong>potenza di calcolo<\/strong> complessiva superiore a <strong>5PFlops<\/strong>, pari a <strong>5 milioni di miliardi di operazioni in virgola mobile al secondo<\/strong>, collegate da una rete ad alte prestazioni e a un sistema di archiviazione dotato delle recenti <strong>tecnologie hardware<\/strong> e <strong>software<\/strong>, per una capacit\u00e0 di memorizzazione dell\u2019ordine dei <strong>20 milioni di Gigabyte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I <a href=\"http:\/\/spazio-news.it\/napoli-leonardo-labs-nasce-laerotech-campus\">Leonardo Labs<\/a> stanno sorgendo in prossimit\u00e0 dei principali <strong>siti industriali del Gruppo <\/strong>in Italia e all\u2019estero con l\u2019obiettivo di <strong>facilitare anche il trasferimento tecnologico<\/strong> e di massimizzare i benefici per i territori di riferimento, consolidando la collaborazione con le istituzioni locali.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo ha, da poco, lanciato la selezione di reclutamento internazionale di <strong>68 giovani talenti<\/strong> per i <strong>Leonardo Labs<\/strong> che verranno inseriti in sei specifiche aree di ricerca, tra cui <strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> <strong>&amp; Autonomous Intelligent System<\/strong>, <strong>Big Data Analytics<\/strong>, <strong>High Performance Computing<\/strong>,\u00a0 <strong>Electrification of Aeronautical Platforms<\/strong>, <strong>Materials &amp;
