A fine novembre si \u00e8 tenuto l’annual review meeting 2020 <\/strong>del progetto More Affordable Small Aircraft manufacturing – SAT-AM<\/a>, progetto dedicato allo sviluppo di \u201cSmall Air Transport<\/strong>” nell’ambito del programma europeo Clean Sky 2<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Il consorzio SAT-AM<\/strong>, a cui partecipano, oltre al Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali – CIRA<\/a>, aziende<\/strong> del comparto aeronautico polacco<\/strong>, tra cui il Centro di Ricerca Aerospaziale Polacco – ILOT<\/a> e la PZL Mielec<\/a> (di propriet\u00e0 della Lockheed Martin<\/a>) azienda produttrice del velivolo M28 che rappresenta la baseline del progetto<\/strong>, ha l’obiettivo di sviluppare ed applicare nuove tecnologie di manifattura a basso costo e a basso impatto ambientale<\/strong> con la finalit\u00e0 di ridurre i tempi di produzione<\/strong> dei velivoli<\/strong> dell’Aviazione Generale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNel corso dell’incontro, sono stati discussi i risultati delle analisi di bird strike e le conseguenti indicazioni per il re-design del cockpit del velivolo M28<\/em> \u2013 si legge nella nota diffusa dal CIRA<\/a> -. Un altro importante focus ha riguardato lo sviluppo di un coating super-idrofobico per la air lip della gondola motore del velivolo come sistema passivo antighiaccio che verr\u00e0 sottoposto a test, per il raggiungimento del TRL5, nell’Icing Wind Tunnel nel 2021\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n

Tra le tecnologie sviluppate nell’ambito di SAT-AM<\/strong>, vi \u00e8 l’additive layer manufacturing – ALM<\/strong> con cui il centro italiano<\/strong> ha progettato e realizzato alcune parti strutturali<\/strong> del dimostratore<\/strong> di<\/strong> terra<\/strong> come le lugs di collegamento carrello anteriore-fusoliera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Durante l\u2019incontro sono stati, anche, presentati gli aggiornamenti sullo sviluppo di un sistema di<\/strong> structural health monitoring<\/strong> basato su sensori piezoelettrici<\/strong> e Lamb wave<\/strong> per monitorare<\/strong> i giunti in friction stir welding<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Il progetto si avvia alla dimostrazione in volo <\/strong>delle tecnologie sviluppate prevista nel 2021<\/strong>.\u200b<\/p>\n
